We are happy to announce that the 2021 Symposium on Econometrics and Big Data at Xiamen University, hosted by School of Economics, Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE) and Gregory and Paula Chow Center for Economic Research, organized by Department of Statistics, School of Economics, Xiamen University, China, will be held on July 9-11, 2021 at Xiamen University. The main purpose of this symposium is to provide a platform for active econometricians and statisticians from China and overseas to exchange the ideas with each other and present their latest results in the modern statistics frontiers. The symposium will consist of a series of workshops focusing on new developments of econometrics and big data theory and methodology as well as their applications.

PAPER SUBMISSION AND REGISTRATION：

The program committee invites high quality papers on the related fields in econometrics and big data. To be considered for a presentation, a PDF or a WORD file of the full paper should be submitted to our conference website via http://app.soe.xmu.edu.cn/meetings/sebd2021/Registration before June 15, 2021. The title page of paper should include the information of the presenter (full name, affiliation, email address), and up to six keywords. The decision of acceptance will be announced by June 21, 2021.

There will be no registration fees. For contributed speakers, the participants are expected to cover their own travel and hotel expenses.
