We are happy to announce that the 2020 Symposium on Modern Statistics at Xiamen University, hosted by School of Economics, Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE) and Gregory and Paula Chow Center for Economic Research, organized by Department of Statistics, School of Economics, Xiamen University, China, will be held on December 25-27, 2020 at Xiamen University. The main purpose of this symposium is to provide a platform for statisticians from China and overseas to exchange ideas and present their latest results in the modern statistics frontiers. The symposium will consist of a series of workshops focusing on new developments of modern statistical theory and methodology as well as their applications including but not limited to Mathematical Statistics, Economic Statistics, Econometrics, Financial Econometrics and Biostatistics.

To be considered for a presentation, a PDF or a WORD file of the full paper should be submitted to our conference website via https://conf.xmu.edu.cn/modernstatistics2020/ before November 30, 2020. The title page of paper should include the information of the presenter (full name, affiliation, email address), and up to six keywords. The decision of acceptance will be announced by December 7, 2020.
There will be no registration fees. Transportation and accommodation for contributed speakers will be at their own expense.
