The 2022 Symposium on Econometrics and Big Data at Xiamen University July 22-24, 2022 Xiamen, China HOSTED BY: School of Economics, Xiamen University, China Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE), Xiamen University, China Gregory and Paula Chow Center for Economic Research, Xiamen University, China ORGANIZED BY: Department of Statistics and Data Science, School of Economics, Xiamen University, China The Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Econometrics, Xiamen University, China The Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory of Statistical Sciences, Xiamen University, China We are happy to announce that the 2022 Symposium on Econometrics and Big Data at Xiamen University, hosted by School of Economics, Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE) and Gregory and Paula Chow Center for Economic Research, organized by Department of Statistics and Data Science, School of Economics, The Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Econometrics, Xiamen University, and The Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory of Statistical Sciences, Xiamen University, will be held on July 22-24, 2022 at Xiamen University (Xiamen, China). The main purpose of this symposium is to provide a platform for active econometricians and statisticians from China and overseas to exchange the ideas with each other and present their latest results in the modern statistics frontiers. The symposium will consist of a series of workshops focusing on new developments of econometrics and big data theory and methodology as well as their applications. INVITED KEYNOTE SPEAKERS INCLUDE: • Zongwu Cai, Kansas University • Yongmiao Hong, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences • Atsushi Inoue, Vanderbilt University • Yixiao Sun, University of California, San Diego • Shaoping Wang, Huazhong University of Science and Technology • Weiguo Wang, Dongbei University of Finance&Economics • Wenju Wang, Beijing Wuzi University PAPER SUBMISSION AND REGISTRATION： The program committee invites high quality papers on the related fields in econometrics and big data. To be considered for a presentation, a PDF or a WORD file of the full paper should be submitted to our conference website via https://conf.xmu.edu.cn/sebd/ before June 30, 2022. The title page of paper should include the information of the presenter (full name, affiliation, email address), and up to six keywords. The decision of acceptance will be announced by July 8, 2022. There will be no registration fees. For contributed speakers, the participants are expected to cover their own travel and hotel expenses.
