William Cong Dr. Lin William Cong is the Rudd Family Professor of Management and Associate Professor of Finance at Cornell University. He is also a Finance co-editor at the Management Science and associate editor for several other journals such as Journal of Financial Intermediation. Professor Cong earned his Ph.D. in Finance and MS in Statistics from Stanford University, and A.M. in Physics jointly with A.B. in Math and Physics from Harvard University. Professor Cong’s research spans applied finance theory, FinTech, economic data science, entrepreneurship, and the Chinese economy. Professor Cong has received numerous accolades such as the AAM-CAMRI-CFA Institute Prize in Asset Management, the CME Best paper Award, Finance Theory Group Best Paper Award. Bing Han Dr. Bing HAN is a Professor of Finance and the TMX Chair in Capital Markets at Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. His research focuses on Behavioral Finance, Investments, and Asset Pricing. He has published in top finance and economics journals as well as practitioner oriented journals. His research has been presented at many international and national conferences, and featured in mainstream media. He has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of Chicago, Ohio State University and University of Texas at Austin. He is currently the Editor of Financial Management, and associate editors of several other leading economics and finance journals.
Xuezhong (Tony) He
Dr. Xuezhong (Tony) HE is a Professor of Finance at Department of Finance, International Business School Suzhou (IBSS), Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, China. Tony received his PhD in Finance in 2001 from University of Technology Sydney and PhD in Applied Mathematics in 1995 from Flinders University in Australia, the two fundamental disciplines that underpin his areas of teaching and interdisciplinary research. He has been a Co-Editor of Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control (an ABDC A* journal) since 2013. He is an internationally recognized expert in financial market modelling, market microstructure/fintech, and financial economics. According to RePEc (Research Papers in Economics), Tony is ranked at top 3% and 4% in Asia and China, respectively.
Dr. Yue MA is currently Yeung Kin Man Chair Professor of Finance, College of Business, City University of Hong Kong. He earned BSc in Optimal Control Theory from Xiamen University, China, and a joint PhD degree in Economics and Econometrics from Manchester University, the UK. His research mainly focuses on corporate finance and financial regulations. He has published widely in international leading finance, accounting, and economics journals and Chinese top economics and finance journals. He has won the Best Paper Award by the Journal of Financial Economics in 2011 and the College Excellent PhD Supervisor Award in 2022 from CityUHK. The main findings of his research have been shared with policy makers in the World Bank, State Foreign Exchange Administration (SAFE) in Beijing, and European Central Bank (ECB). Xuan Tian Dr. Xuan TIAN is currently the Associate Dean and JD Capital Chair Professor of Finance at PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University. Professor Tian received his Ph.D. from Boston College, M.A. from the University of Washington, and B.A. from Peking University. He is an award-winning researcher in the areas of corporate finance and financial intermediation. His studies have been published in top international academic journals and ranked among the top 1% of high-impact papers in the world. He currently serves as chief editor and associate editor of several international top academic journals. He was selected on the list of “Highly Cited Chinese Researchers” released by Elsevier for his exceptional research performance in the field of applied economics. Xiaoguang Yang Dr. Xiaoguang Yang is a professor at Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include risk management, behavior finance, game theory and optimization. He has published more than 300 academic papers. Currently, he serves as the deputy director of the Institute of Systems Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, president of the Systems Engineering Society of China, vice president of the Eurasian Systems Science Research Association, and editor-in-chiefs of the System Engineering Theory and Practice and Systems Science and Mathematics. He has won Fudan Management Excellence Award, National Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker, China Youth Science and Technology Award, etc. |
